Screening Scholarship Media Festival 2016
A few weeks back, I had the honor of participating in the 2016 Screening Scholarship Media Festival, which focused on Race, Media, and Social Justice.
First, I served as the discussant for a panel entitled "One Nation, 10 Stories: From Research to Animation." This panel gave a sneak peak into the project I serve as the Creative Consultant for, the Penn Top 10 Social Justice and Policy Issues for the 2016 Presidential Election.
Then, as part of a panel entitled "Protesting Precarious Citizenship," Milena Velis and I got to screen our film "The Engine of My Life," as well as another Groundwork short, "A Job I Can Enjoy.
Here are some photos from these panels, shot by Kate Zambon of CAMRA.
